Osmotherley Village Hall

Osmotherley Village Hall The Village Hall sits in the heart of the village of Osmotherley in the North York Moors The hall is suitable for weddings, birthday parties and meetings.

A registered charity, the hall is run by a management committee of volunteers and is supported by a number of village organisations. Running costs are covered by hire income, however a big boost to the funds is provided by the Osmotherley Summer Games, held on the first Saturday of July every year. On Tuesday 16th May John & Carol will be on Day 4 of a 70 miles walk from York to Stockton-on-Tees as part of Dementia Awareness Week. John's wife Patricia was born in York and lived in Stockton from 1985 until her death from Frontotemporal Dementia aged just 66 in 2017.

Leaving Osgodby Bank Car Park at 9.00 they will pass through Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe (9.45), Felixkirk (10.30), Cowesby (12.00), Nether Silton (13.15), Over Silton (13.45) and Thimbleby (14.30) finishing the day at Osmotherley (15.15).

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

The Village Hall AGM will take place on Monday 17th October at 7:30pm in the Village Hall. This is a public meeting and anyone is welcome.
