Not long now until our Mosaic Open Evening. All welcome to come along to enjoy these beautiful pieces of art and hear from their creator Jane Thorniley-Walker. We look forward to welcoming everyone next Tuesday evening.

On Tuesday 16th May John & Carol will be on Day 4 of a 70 miles walk from York to Stockton-on-Tees as part of Dementia Awareness Week. John's wife Patricia was born in York and lived in Stockton from 1985 until her death from Frontotemporal Dementia aged just 66 in 2017.

Leaving Osgodby Bank Car Park at 9.00 they will pass through Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe (9.45), Felixkirk (10.30), Cowesby (12.00), Nether Silton (13.15), Over Silton (13.45) and Thimbleby (14.30) finishing the day at Osmotherley (15.15).

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

POLITE NOTICE

We have discovered today that all of the village hall heaters had been switched off at the wall.

During the first lockdown we completed a lot of maintenance and decorated the hall and we need to keep the hall warm and dry to protect this.

The heating is now back on constant for a period of time to warm the building up again. Could anyone going into to the hall please leave the heaters alone.

New hand sanitiser station and QR code poster for NHS Test and Trace app. Could we ask all visitors to the hall to use these on arrival. Thanks.

We are taking the opportunity whilst the Village Hall is not in regular use to get some essential maintenance work carried out. We just wanted to inform everyone that some workmen will be going into the hall from next week. This shouldn't cause any issues in the surrounding area, but apologies for any inconvenience that may arise. Many thanks.
