Additional Flying RAF Leeming 🚁

There will be increased movement by exercising aircraft operating from RAF Leeming from 1-12 June 2026.

The RAF Leeming will be hosting rotary aircraft for events which will include low and night flying.

We understand our responsibility as good neighbours to inform the local community of such events that are additional to our normal flying activities and every effort will be made to keep the disturbance to a minimum.

My Mum was travelling to Perth in Australia on Sunday 19th April & met a lady from Appleton Wiske, who was also travelling to Perth. They had a chat about why they were going to Australia etc.

My Mum was going to suggest she swapped emails/numbers but then they were taken off to different parts of the plane and didn't see each other again.
