πŸ”ŽπŸ“š The countdown is on! πŸ“šπŸ”Ž

There are now only a few days to go until our Moulton Library Crime & Thriller Fest, and we couldn't be more excited!

We're kicking off the week on Monday with Adrian Perkins – The Ghost Detective, who will be sharing fascinating stories from his paranormal investigations and exploring all things ghostly and unexplained. πŸ‘»

On Wednesday, Professor Graeme Yorston joins us for a thought-provoking look at why some infamous serial killers do what they do, with a particular focus on the notorious killer Ed Gein.

Friday afternoon sees Steve Dimmer bringing the world of the Queen of Crime to life with his engaging talk on Agatha Christie. Then in the evening, bestselling thriller authors John Marrs - Author and Darren O'Sullivan will be in conversation, discussing their books, writing journeys and all things crime fiction.

We're rounding off the festival with a fantastic murder mystery evening hosted by Laugh Out Loud Theatre Company, and we can't wait to see whodunnit! πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ”ͺ

Whether you're fascinated by true crime, intrigued by the paranormal, or love a gripping thriller, there's something for everyone.

🎟️ There are still a few tickets available for some events, so don't miss out!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for The Big Lunch 2026!

Led by the Eden Project, The Big Lunch is all about bringing communities together, encouraging conversation over a lovely lunch prepared by eatcafe, tackling isolation, and helping to build stronger, more connected communities. It was wonderful to see people of all ages coming together, sharing stories, making new connections, and enjoying such a lovely afternoon.

A special thank you goes to the MSSC students who volunteered to serve lunch as part of The Big Help Out, another fantastic initiative led by the Eden Project. Their enthusiasm, hard work, and willingness to help were vital in making the day such a success. It was fantastic to see young people playing such an important role and supporting intergenerational connections within our community.

Events like these remind us of the power of coming together, and we are so grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make the day so memorable.
