🧠🎉 Words, Laughter & a Little Baileys at Timken! 🎉🥂

What a lovely afternoon of word games with our residents, lifestyle carers and even Jayne from reception joining in! 🥰👏

We warmed up our brains with finish the proverb before moving on to a fun game of Hangman! ✏️ We explored nature and animals 🐾, food and drink 🍰, TV shows 📺 and famous landmarks 🌍.

The TV theme certainly got everyone thinking, with our residents guessing Last of the Summer W**e with just the letter A as a clue! 👏😂

To make the afternoon even sweeter, everyone enjoyed a little glass of Baileys 🥂🤎 — the perfect accompaniment to an afternoon filled with friendly competition, brilliant banter and plenty of laughter!

🥌🏆 Timken Curling Challenge! 🏆🥌

What a fantastic afternoon we’ve had at Timken with our weekly Curling Challenge! 😃👏 This week saw even more players joining in the fun, making it another brilliant afternoon of friendly competition, concentration and plenty of smiles! 💕🎉

Our lovely ladies played brilliantly, completing two rounds and showing great skill and determination throughout. 🌟🥌

🥇 A huge congratulations to our winner this week, Freda! 🎊👏 Freda achieved an impressive 220 points over two rounds — what a fantastic result! 🏆💐

Well done to everyone who took part. It’s wonderful to see more residents getting involved, enjoying a little friendly competition and cheering each other on. 🥰❤️

🌸💐 Flower Club at Timken! 💐🌸

What a lovely morning we’ve had in our tearoom with our wonderful ladies and gents enjoying our Flower Club! 🥰🌷

With a beautiful, colourful collection of fresh flowers, everyone enjoyed arranging gorgeous vases to brighten up their bedrooms. 🌹🌼🌻 It was lovely to see the ladies and gents getting creative and bringing a little splash of colour and happiness to their rooms. 💕

As we arranged our flowers, we listened to some lovely 1940s songs 🎶🎵, enjoyed a warm cup of coffee ☕ and had a good old chat about life, reminiscing and sharing precious memories along the way. ❤️

And of course, no lovely morning would be complete without a little treat! 😋🥧 Everyone enjoyed some delicious jam tarts, adding an extra sprinkle of sweetness to our morning together. 🍓💗

There’s something for everyone at Timken this morning, with a wonderful variety of sights and sounds bringing our home to life! 🥰✨

🐦🌳 Across our lounges: We’re enjoying the beautiful sounds of birdsong, Open All Hours and incredible wildlife with the wonderful Sir David Attenborough! 🦜🦁🌍

👑🎬 In our cinema: It’s a little fairy-tale magic with the classic favourite Cinderella! ✨👠

🎶☕ In our tearoom: We’re taking a trip down memory lane with the golden oldies from the fabulous 50s, 60s and 70s! 🎤💃🕺 Plenty of familiar tunes to sing along to and reminisce about.

🎻🍷 In our bar: We’re enjoying the relaxing and timeless sounds of classical music, creating a lovely, peaceful atmosphere. 🎼🕯️

🌏✈️ Armchair Travel: Our Adventure to Singapore! 🇸🇬🌴

This afternoon, our lovely residents at Timken travelled all the way to Singapore without even leaving the comfort of our home! 🥰🌎

During our armchair travel adventure, we explored this fascinating country and learned all about its culture, day-to-day life, traditions and the way people live. We also discovered some of Singapore’s amazing wildlife 🦜🦋 and explored its delicious and diverse cuisine. 🍜🥢

It was a wonderful afternoon of learning, sharing knowledge and discovering new things together! 🌟 Our armchair travel sessions are a lovely way to spark curiosity, encourage conversation and reminisce about past adventures and experiences. 💕💬

Who knows where our next adventure will take us? Keep an eye out for our next destination! ✈️🌍❤️

🎶💖 A Magical Afternoon with Boogie Beats! 💖🎶

What a truly lovely afternoon we had at Timken with a wonderful visit from Boogie Beats! 🌟🎵

Our home was filled with singing, dancing, laughter and lots of happy smiles as our lovely residents and the children came together to enjoy the music. 🥰👏 There was plenty of hand clapping, toe tapping and joyful interaction as everyone joined in and enjoyed each other’s company. 💃🕺🎶

There really is something so beautiful about bringing generations together. Seeing the children and our residents connecting through music, sharing smiles and creating special memories is simply heartwarming. ❤️✨

These intergenerational moments are so precious, reminding us that music has no age limit and that happiness, connection and laughter can be shared by everyone. 🌈💕

A huge thank you to Boogie Beats for bringing so much joy and magic into our afternoon. We look forward to making more wonderful memories together! 🎤🎉

🥊🎈💪 A Fun-Filled Morning at Timken with Rise Life! 💪🎈🥊

What a fantastic morning we’ve had with Rise Life Rugby, Northampton & Coventry! 🌟 Our lovely ladies and gents got moving with a brilliant mix of armchair exercises, boxing activities and fun balloon games! 🎈🥊

There were lots of smiles, laughter and enthusiastic participation as everyone worked to their own abilities, keeping active while having a wonderful time together. 🥰👏 It was lovely to see everyone getting involved, enjoying the activities and embracing the fun!

A huge thank you to Lenny for another brilliant session. We’ve had such a lovely morning and are already looking forward to seeing you again soon! ❤️😊
