Our next staff suggestion is a two for one by Amber from Weston Favell Library. Amber says:
"I really enjoy reading books based in the 17th Century and these are my favourite reads based on the English Civil War. Both are atmospheric historical thrillers. The Seeker series focuses on the mysterious agent of the Lord Protector. The writing is visceral and you really can feel the pressures of the time period. The Swift and The Harrier is equally as enjoyable but there is a lot more information on the medical practices during the time as well as details of plots and espionage."

The Swift and the Harrier is available as an eAudiobook on BorrowBox and as a paperback in our libraries.
