Update on the weekly Seniors activities!

1.TAI CHI - Rain tomorrow for Tai Chi - wear anorak’s - see you in the park! ☔️ Jeff will be waiting! If it’s really raining….let’s go coffee at Tesco!! ☕️

2.SENIORS YOGA CREW - amazing session today - thank you tutor Carrie-Anne 🙏 what a session! Looking forward to planning a Summer Special! ☀️ (yoga photo isn’t ours…but it’s what we do!)….

3. SENIORS COFFEE MORNING CREW - 90 people attended talk by Dave Askew from Northamptonshire Walks!

🌳 Improving Our Parks and Green Spaces 🌳

Over the past few weeks, East Hunsbury Parish Council has been carrying out a range of improvements across our parks and open spaces to make them safer, more accessible and more enjoyable for everyone.

✅ New fencing has been installed and damaged sections repaired to improve safety and help protect sensitive areas.

✅ Pathways have been reinstated and resurfaced where wear and erosion had made them difficult to use, creating smoother and more accessible routes for residents.

✅ Grangewood Park entrance from Grangewood Club has been improved to provide a safer, more welcoming access point while helping to prevent unauthorised vehicle access.

These works form part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining and enhancing the green spaces that so many residents enjoy every day.

We hope you'll agree that these improvements are already making a positive difference. If you spot any issues in our parks that need attention, please let us know.

👮☕ Meet Your Local Neighbourhood Police Team This Weekend

If you can't make it to one of our regular Cuppa with a Copper sessions, here's an opportunity to meet your local neighbourhood policing officers at the weekend.

📅 Saturday 6 June 2026
⏰ 10:00am – 11:30am
📍 Costa Coffee, Tesco Mereway, Clannell Road, Northampton NN4 0JF

Come along for an informal chat with your local officers and find out more about the steps you can take to help prevent crime and keep your home and family safe.

You can also raise any concerns you have about crime or anti-social behaviour in your neighbourhood and learn more about the work being done to tackle local priorities.

Everyone is welcome, and it would be great to see you there.

Please note that this event may be subject to cancellation due to operational demands, although the police will do their best to keep residents informed of any changes.
