The safety of our pupils will always come first. The decision to introduce a knife arch trial with Year 10 this morning in collaboration with the police is a pro-active and preventative measure, It is not in response to a specific incident and is part of our wider commitment to safeguarding. We want to provide reassurance to our families and send a very clear message that weapons have no place in our school community. All parents have been written to explaining all details from this morning.

Duston have won the first-ever Jane Chamberlain U13 Girls County Cup, edging out Northampton School 3–2 in a fiercely competitive and entertaining final.

Goals from Izzy, Grace, and Olani proved decisive, giving Duston a strong platform before a late NS strike set up a tense finish. The girls showed real character to see the game out under pressure.

A fantastic advert for girls’ football, with both teams playing with skill, determination, and great spirit.

Congratulations to all Year 6 pupils who have secured their place at The Duston School secondary phase for September 2026! 🎉

We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming you into our school community and cannot wait for you to begin this exciting new chapter with us.

Over the summer term, we look forward to meeting you during our primary school visits, followed by our two transition days in July — a fantastic opportunity to explore the school, meet new friends, and get to know our staff.
