A big congratulations and warm welcome to Craftsman Bence Kekete, the newest member of 128 Divisional Support Company!

Bence brings impressive expertise as a Software Developer and Engineer in his civilian career.

While his current priority is completing Phase 1 training, he’s already setting his sights on becoming a specialist Combat Medical Technician or Vehicle Mechanic in the future.

We’re proud to welcome two outstanding additions to our battalion family:

👨‍🔧 Craftsman Laker joins us from 101 Battalion as a Vehicle Mechanic, bringing fresh energy and technical expertise to the team. We’re excited to see him thrive in his new role!

🎖️ Corporal Shiels, formerly of 8 Field Company, has transferred from the Regulars to the Reserves. A seasoned Vehicle Instructor, Military Training Instructor, and Adventurous Training Dive Instructor, his experience will be a huge asset to our training and development efforts.

We regret to inform you that Staff Caswell's charity run had been postponed following the passing of Len Hardy BEM, CEO and founder of the Veterans Contact Point, who passed away last week after his battle with cancer. Len's loss has deeply affected everyone who knew him and supported the charity. His funeral will take place on 25th September which Staff Caswell will attend.

The charity run has been rescheduled for 1st December.

We thank you for your support and continued support during this difficult time.

Yesterday we welcomed a new Reservist, Pte Sharp who successfully passed the final hurdle of becoming a trained Reservist at ATC Grantham. An excellent achievement as this was the Combined Course, 21 days of continuous Basic Training. On behalf of all ranks of 118 Close Support Company, welcome to the Coy and the wider Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers - Pte Sharp will join the Company as a Chef.
