🚸 BARRY PRIMARY 🚸

Today rounds off 3 back to back days of school visits with the wonderful Barry Primary - I always want to add road into the name, Barry road primary - anyway...

What a incredible day of learning we have had! I love bringing the city into schools, seeing the children work together as teams and feeding off each others imaginations is truely magical!

🚓🚒 Emergency Services were super busy today. The Police caught lots of bad guys!
🍕 The pizza shops was a huge hit!
🦁🐍 The Vets worked very hard too treating all the poorly animals!

I love how your teachers got involved and played too. The amount of houses built for Mrs Daisy was incredible. I wonder what she will do with them all! 🤣

P.s. big thanks to the staff for helping me unload/load the van! 💪🏻 Very much appreciated! Haha!

I'm off for a lie down now before bring the ICE CITY to Abington tomorrow with our special guest the Ice Queen herself coming to play! 🎵 Do you want to build a snowman...? 😉 I can't wait, get your tickets from the link in my bio 🎟 See you there x

🚸 FOREST LODGE ACADEMY 🚸

Yesterday I travelled north again to Leicester so that the wonderful nursery children at Forest Lodge Academy could have an end of term treat in the City!

🍍 There was lots of pizza eaten in the cafe (invluding pineapple)
💇‍♀️ The hairdressers was always busy doing plaits and makeovers
🛒 The supermarket had lots of choice, although it probably won't win "Cheapest Supermarket of the Year" award when some carrots and bread cost 300million dollars 😲
🌧 I also got rained on as I forgot my coat 🤦🏻‍♀️

Overall a super morning of imagination, wonder and team work! I loved it!

🚸 Woodland View Primary 🚸

Children from Reception and Year 1 immersed themselves in imaginative play, exploring every area of the city while developing key skills through hands-on learning.

🦁 We built a Zoo
🍕 We had plenty of orders taken at the Three Bears pizza shop
📮 Important letters were delivered across the city
🎟 We used puppets to act out our favourite books

It was wonderful to see so much creativity, confidence and collaboration as the children learned through play.

🎈 PARTY TIME 🎈

What a wonderful morning we had celebrating Scarlett turning 5 (tomorrow). This one was extra special for me as I've known Scarlett's Mummy and Daddy for a very long time now! Including spending two maternity leaves together with her Mummy ❤️ It is a pleasure to have watched you grown into a beautiful girl, Scarlett! I had to throw in the picture of you and Christopher when you were just tiny babies, although Christopher is only two months old than you he looks massive here! 🤣

You and your friends were having a great time at your party today. The fancy dress was well used, the babies had many nappy changes, the builders did a great job making towers and lets not forget about all the pizza's that were made.

I hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow celebrating your birthday with your family. 🎂

🚸 SCHOOL WORKSHOP 🚸

Today I woke silly early - the alarm clock started with a 5! As my sister would say "who knew there are two 5's in a day?" 🤣 . So up I was to drive to Leicester. Linden Primary School hired Little City Northampton for their nursery children for an end of your treat! I know there is another 6 weeks of the Summer 2 term but I had to squeeze them in. Who needs admin days anyway, right? 🤔🤣

Well, what an absolute pleasure it was. There were 38 children that came to play split over 2 hours of wonderful role play. I had a great conversation with one boy in the post office about all the places on our planet and where, particularly, Leicester was on the globe - "well that's very small" was his response 🤣

I watched the children in the doctors make each other better by giving each other medicine. I'm not sure injections are meant to go in ears, but who argues with the doctor 🤷🏻‍♀️

I loved seeing how the teachers engaged with the children, got involved in their play, even did some of their own play - plaiting hair in the hairdressers 💇‍♀️🤣

But the best bit was watching 3 boys all get dressed into superhero outfits, flexed their muscles, then all sat down at the cafe and tucked into their takeaway pizzas and burger. It was if they were three grown men going for a pint 🤣

Linden Primary, you were fab! Thank you for a great morning of role play fun! The pictures depict just how hard they played 😁

P.s. I loved the fact the teacher was already talking about booking Little City Northampton again half way through the first session ❤️

🖌 BEING CREATIVE 🖌

I love being creative - when I get the time too be - and when I saw this old Market stall in the shed I knew what it had to be. So a trip to and a stapler later we have 🌟 Ta-da 🌟 a Theatre. All ready for your imagination. I can't wait to see your puppet shows. I might have had some fun playing with it too 🤣
