A great picture taken by Jason Arthur of the Aspdin Beehive Kiln, a Scheduled Ancient Monument. The crane, wharf and tracks near our visitor centre would all have been part of the infrastructure of this and its adjoining kilns shipping cement all over the world.

This is your chance to have some direct input to the EDC and GBC about what you want to see happen with the remaining bits of Northfleet. DON'T WASTE IT.

Although it must be acknowledged that the kiln is actually treated quite well under these plans, so support should also be shown where they've got it right shame about the plan for the harbour though

Have we chosen the right locations and places, and how should spaces be designed to best meet the needs of the local community?
