NGS - The Old Parsonage
Sunday 24th & Monday 25th May 2026

This 2 acre garden is in an attractive and secretive rural setting in a secluded part of the Arley Estate, with ancient yew hedges, herbaceous and mixed borders, shrub roses and climbers leading to a woodland garden and unfenced pond with gunnera and water plants. Rhododendrons, azaleas, meconopsis and cardiocrinum are among the interesting and unusual trees which can be found in this garden.

Dogs welcome on a lead.

Adult £6, Children (4-16) free.

The garden will be open from 2pm - 5pm both days.

Home made cakes and tea & coffee will be available to purchase.

The Arley Hall Nursery is quite literally a plant heaven!

We pour so much love into our plants and we love it when you take a little piece of that home with you and then come back to tell us how happy the plants made you!

We might be biased but we think we are one of Cheshire’s best kept secrets ❤️

Supplying the famous herbaceous border with some new plants!

We propagate lots of plants in the nursery from the herbaceous border and we love it when we can supply them with some brand new treasures too! The border is always changing and well worth visiting regularly to see what’s new.

Visitors love it when they can take home the same plants that they saw in the gardens.
