We’re looking for additional volunteer drivers to help collect surplus food from local supermarkets and deliver it to community food hubs.
✔ 1–2 hours in an Evening for a collection/drop off.
✔ Typically once every other week

Annual Seniors Lunch – A Wonderful Afternoon!

What a fantastic day we had at our Rotary Northwich Vale Royal Annual Seniors Lunch, held this year at our lovely new venue, Barnton Cricket Club

We welcomed 80 guests who enjoyed a delicious roast turkey dinner followed by a very well‑received chocolate orange cake 🍊🍰

A huge highlight of the afternoon was Rotarian James, who entertained everyone with his guitar and singing—our guests loved joining in! 🎶

A heartfelt thank you to all our Rotarians who helped with transport, and a special thanks to Club Class Taxis for providing a minibus to ensure everyone could attend safely and comfortably.

And of course, a massive thank you to Rotarian Pam for organising such a brilliant event. Your hard work made the afternoon truly special ❤️

🎉 A Wonderful Evening Supporting the Northwich Mayor’s Fundraiser! 🎉

Several members of Rotary Club Northwich Vale Royal were delighted to attend the Northwich Mayor, Julie’s, fundraising evening in support of her chosen charities for the year — The Joshua Tree and the Buddy & Befriending Scheme.

The event was held at Kanya Bistro, where we enjoyed a delicious meal and fantastic hospitality. Local businesses generously donated a wide range of raffle prizes, helping raise even more for these two amazing causes.

It was a brilliant opportunity to meet and connect with other organisations, charities, and community partners — all coming together to support the Mayor’s important work. A huge thank you to everyone involved for a truly enjoyable and meaningful evening. 💙

Thank you to Louise Mather for visiting our club to share her inspiring talk about the Sleep Apnoea Trust. Her story has now been featured in the Northwich Guardian, helping to raise vital awareness across our community.

We were proud to donate £250 to support the Trust’s important work — another example of how our club brings charities into our meetings, learns from their experiences, and takes action to help make a difference locally.

Thank you, Louise, for your passion and for helping shine a light on an often‑overlooked condition. 💙
