Here's my main campaign poster! 5 Reasons to RE-ELECT ELISE as Postgrad Officer and NUS Delegate.
I Will...
1. Lobby the Government to Increase Student Finance for Postgraduates.
The cost of living is biting and PGs mustn't be sold short. That's why I'm building a campaign to increase PG entitlement to student finance
2. Fight Racism, Colonialism, and Antisemitism.
The NUS report into antisemitism should be a wake-up call for student politics. We must work for compassion and empowerment for all.
3. Keep Postgrads on the Agenda.
During UEA's proposed cuts and in their future plans to rebuild, I will listen to what you need me to prioritise, and fight for it.
4. Increase Engagement with the Grad Centre and Scholar's.
The Graduate Centre is an amazing space in which to build community and I will continue to boost it with the events YOU want to see.
5. Continued, Meaningful Support for the University and College Union.
All PGs can join UCU, and their fights are our fights. Our voices must be heard together for the future of UEA and Higher Education.
