Don't panic! You can still borrow books, audiobooks and magazines on our library apps. All you need is your library card number and your pin number. Download available titles straightaway to your device, then find a nice and cool place to sit and relax.

It's just two weeks until Summer Reading Challenge 2026 launches!

This year the theme is 'Read to the Beat', and across our libraries we have a host of fab music-related activities to really get you into the swing of things.

This year things are a little different - instead of reading 6 books over the summer, children can set their own reading goals (and there's a welcome pack full of ideas to get you going!)

Aimed at children 4-11, you can sign up at any Norfolk Library. Plus there's even a mini-challenge for the little ones (we wouldn't want anyone to miss out).

Launch day is Saturday 4 July, and you have the whole summer to sign up and join the fun

Thank you to the pupils, parents and staff at Hickling Infant School for making us feel very welcome today. Our manager visited the school to tell the children about the exciting Summer Reading Challenge coming soon. We look forward to welcoming them all at the library in July to register for the challenge .

1 - 7 June is ! We are so grateful to our wonderful volunteers who support us in so many ways at Stalham Library.
A big THANK YOU to Chris who is our RVS volunteer. She delivers books to housebound customers who, without her, would not be able to access books and audio-books.
