The Annual Parish Meeting is a community meeting, where residents of the parish (electors) discuss local issues and hear reports from the parish council. It is a meeting of the electors, not a meeting of the parish council, designed for public participation and open dialogue

Please contact the clerk at [email protected]
or telephone 01603 890290 to confirm your attendance.

The Annual Council meeting will follow on after the annual parish meeting. There will be 15 minutes available for public speaking after which members of the public may then observe the meeting.

If you would like to raise an issue, or have matter that you would like to discuss please contact the Clerk by the 27.4.26 , as councillors cannot make instant decisions on items not on the agenda.

Once the council agenda has been advertised it cannot be changed.

INFORMATION FROM BROADLAND AND SOUTH NORFOLK DISTRICT COUNCIL

Mental Health Awareness in the Community Training.

As part of our Mindful Towns and Villages project we aim to increase the number of people within the community who have the knowledge and skills to be able to spot when someone may need support with their mental wellbeing, signposting them to supportive services as required.

These people can be from community groups, small businesses, sport clubs or can be keen residents who care about the people around them. The more knowledge and confidence a community has to support mental health, the more resilient the community can become. The people trained are known as Wellbeing Champions.

We want to highlight that we do not expect anyone to give any additional time to this role; these conversations will likely occur within your given role in the community.

You can learn more about the project here: https://www.southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk/communities/mindful-towns-villages

The details of our next course are:
