⚰️ Cemetery Management – Training for Parish & Town Councils
Managing a cemetery or burial ground brings with it a range of legal, administrative and practical responsibilities. Our Cemetery Management training programme is designed to give Clerks and councils the knowledge and confidence to manage these responsibilities effectively.
We have three specialist courses coming up:
🔵 Granting, Exercising & Transferring Exclusive Rights of Burial (EROB)
📅 23 September 2026 | 9.30am–12.30pm | Online
Understand the rules around Exclusive Rights of Burial, including granting rights, transfers, ownership and some of the common issues councils encounter.
🔵 Introduction to Cemetery Management for Parish & Town Clerks
📅 19 November 2026 | 9.30am–12.30pm | Online
An ideal introduction for Clerks who are new to cemetery management, or those looking to refresh their knowledge.
🔵 Management of Memorials – Inspection Workshop
📅 15 March 2027 | 10am–4pm | Swanton Morley
A practical workshop covering the management and inspection of memorials and helping councils understand their responsibilities for keeping burial grounds safe.
Whether you are new to cemetery management or looking to build your knowledge in a particular area, you can book the course that suits you – or attend all three!
