Restored and run by volunteers, the award winning Hardley Mill project is returning a a long derelict drainage pump back to life. Work on the cap and sales was completed in 2009. Now the sails turn regularly and after a climb to the top of the mill, visitors can enjoy the stunning view from the balcony running round the mill cap. Work on the internal machinery is complete. When conditions are suitable the internal turbine pump can be demonstrated.
