A great day in Bungay as partners came together to celebrate the completion of a £1.2 million extension and refurbishment of Bungay Medical Practice.

Funded by East Suffolk Council, the upgraded facilities will help create more space for patients and staff, support the delivery of high-quality care, and help meet the needs of the local community for years to come. 🎉

📉 ‘Feel Good’ in Suffolk as smoking rates fall below the national average

A partnership approach is helping more people in Suffolk quit smoking and improve their health.

New figures show adult smoking rates in Suffolk have fallen from 10.5% to 8.5% in the past year, putting the county below the national average.

This is after a successful year for stop smoking support across Suffolk, with more than 2,600 people quitting smoking with help from local services, including Feel Good Suffolk.

Feel Good Suffolk is a free service delivered in partnership between Suffolk County Council, Babergh District Council, East Suffolk Council, Ipswich Borough Council, Mid Suffolk District Council, West Suffolk Council, Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board and Abbeycroft Leisure.
