Would you like to attend an NUS International Students' Conference on March 10-11th as an observer and meet other International students passionate about improving the International student experience? And for absolutely FREE? We will be electing THREE students to attend during the International Assembly meeting on Tuesday, Feb 23, in Room 2, Union House at 6pm. If you want to nominate yourself, please send a short statement about why you are a good candidate for this experience, to [email protected] by mid-day of next Tuesday, 23rd February.
The International Assembly is a chance for fellow International Students to meet and chat about ways that the Union can make a positive difference for International students. Some highlights on the agenda for this session are:
- Elections for observers of the NUS International Students' Conference (learn more here: http://www.nusconnect.org.uk/shape-our-work/nus-conferences/international-students )
- Discussion for a motion to change rules regarding ID cards for International students on campus
- Upcoming events
There is also a chance for open discussion, where students can raise any concerns they may have, or potential opportunities for improvement.
Also, did I mention there will be FREE PIZZA AND DRINKS?
Please come on by, and enjoy an evening with some fellow dedicated International students.
Hope to see you there!
