The Norwich Arts Centre will be open on the 11th of September for visitors to view the Auditorium as part of Heritage Open Days. St Swithin's Church on Benedicts Street is one of the few Norwich medieval churches to have lost their towers. The church lost its tower in 1882, demolished as it was deemed unsafe and replaced with the turret seen at the west end today. The Arts Centre will be open between 11am-1pm on the 11th.

Hungate Medieval Art on Princes Street will be open on the 12th of September for the Norfolk churches trust Ride and Stride. In addition, they will be holding a talk 'Some Everyday Stories of Hungate People' on the 19th of September 12-12:30pm and on the 20th of September 2-3:30pm.

Community East will be opening St Peter Parmentergate to view the church and for family friendly art activities on the 16th of September as a part of Heritage Open Days. The church contains the intricate memorial to Richard Berney and Elizabeth Hobart, erected in 1623 and boasting a grand canopy with carved figures. The art activities will take place at 12-1:30pm and 2-3:30pm.

Mander Auctioneers will be holding a Valuation and Open day on the 16th of September for Heritage Open Days at the church of St Mary Coslany. The church has a wonderful round tower understood to date to the early twelfth century due to the use of imported Caen stone in the belfry openings. The church will be open for visitors 9am-12pm.

The Flint Room will be opening the doors of St John De Sepulchre on the 15th of September, between 10am-4pm, for Heritage Open Days. St John's holds an elaborate reredos created by John Oldrid Scott, a prominent nineteenth-century architect with his most renowned building being Saint Sophia Cathedral, London. The Norwich Puppet Theatre is holding an open day on the 13th of September as a part of Heritage Open Days for people to visit the church. St James Pockthorpe is a curious looking church due to an octagonal belfry rising from a square tower embedded in the roofline. This arrangement of the west end is thought to have been a result of the limited boundary of the medieval site necessitating a tower built above the nave.
