🎯This weekend, the best of the UK’s archery talent will assemble at Victoria Embankment for the National Tour Final.

On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September, spectators will fill the stands and livestream the action at home from across the world as they watch the archers compete for the top podium spots in the disciplines of recurve, compound, and barebow archery.

This is the first time the National Tour Final has been held at Victoria Embankment alongside the scenic River Trent. The archers will enter the stage through the war memorial archway, welcomed by a chorus of support from friends, families, and fans.

What is short-term fostering? 💛

Short-term fostering provides a safe, caring home for children and young people who are unable to live with their birth family for a period of time.

Placements can last from just a few days up until a permanent place is found, depending on each child's circumstances.

Some children return home once the right support is in place, while others move to long-term foster care, live with relatives or are adopted.

Every child's journey is different, but short-term foster carers provide reassurance, routine and a welcoming home while plans are made for the future.

You may have seen the chewing gum crew cleaning in and around Nottingham. 💪
The work is being carried out thanks to a grant from the . Funded by the chewing gum industry, the task force awards grants to councils to remove gum litter from the streets, and provide tried and tested behaviour changing signage to prevent future gum littering.
