Chicago, I think you’re trying to tell me something. ❤️🇺🇸

After breaking my world record at the Chicago Marathon in 2:38:49, part of me feels like Chicago doesn’t want to let me go. Maybe it’s telling me I should stay in America a little longer!

I’m actually coming back in a week or so to run the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C., and the New York City Marathon. But after the experience I’ve had here, I’m starting to wonder if Chicago is telling me something more.

I loved the atmosphere, the race, the crowd, the energy, and the community. More importantly, I showed up and gave absolutely everything I had. For 2 hours, 38 minutes, and 49 seconds, I pushed myself to the limit. And every mile, every step, the people out there cheering made a difference. They helped push me all the way to the finish line. 🙌🏽

Of course, not everything has been perfect. American Airlines has certainly tested my patience with flight cancellations and what has been a miserable customer service experience. Maybe that’s another reason I’m still here! 😂✈️

Hopefully, I’ll finally make it home today with a smile on my face. A little frustration, perhaps, but so much gratitude for what Chicago has given me.

I came here to run a marathon. I’m leaving with a world record, unforgettable memories, and even more motivation to keep pushing forward.

Thank you, Chicago. You’ve been incredible. ❤️🏃🏽‍♂️

Our Area Manager for the North West, Kate Insley, is leading the way as we look ahead to the exciting refurbishment of St James, due to be completed in spring next year. 🌳🎉

The new play area will feature 12 brand-new pieces of equipment, designed to accommodate 45+ children and offer 40+ play values, creating a fun, inclusive space for children of all ages and abilities.

We love working with the community to make sure your views and, most importantly, the views of the children who will use the park are heard and reflected in the final design. 💚

We can’t wait to see St James come to life! 🛝✨

Since 2023, we have developed a partnership with ESAT APF Touraine, an organisation that supports adults with disabilities by providing access to suitable employment opportunities 🛠️

The results of this collaboration have been extremely positive from the outset. The work is carried out with great care, commitment and professionalism. As a result, the partnership continues to grow each year, with a gradual increase in the number of components entrusted to the ESAT and the development of new assignments.

Proludic partner of 6 years, La Chaîne de l’Espoir has been delivering vital medical training in Togo as part of a Franco-Togolese skill share mission which has helped children to receive life changing surgeries which are typically too difficult to access due to lack of trained paediatricians 🏥

Bonnymead Play Park is a unique and inclusive space for the Amesbury Town Council community! 🛝

The brief gave Proludic the freedom to develop a truly bespoke design, shaped by the site’s character and its mature copper beech tree. At the centre of the park is an 8-metre-high, 17.6-metre-long Kanopé multiplay tower. 🌳

We had a fantastic time taking part in Macmillan Coffee Morning here at Proludic, all in support of an amazing cause!

The team exceeded their own high standards and filled the office with the tastiest cakes, biscuits, savouries and nibbles, making it the hardest year yet for our judges to pick winners!

Thanks to everyone who baked, donated and joined us, together we raised £200 for Macmillan Cancer Support. This will help them continue their incredible work supporting those affected by cancer.

This is truly one of the most rewarding traditions here at the Proludic Play Hub and we can’t wait to taste next years creations already!
