A huge thank you to all of our Farnborough families for making sure our Year 7s arrived beaming with pride in their uniforms this morning. 💛

They looked absolutely immaculate, a real credit to you and the care and support you’ve given them as they start this exciting new chapter. 👏

And what a first day! We have been so impressed by their wonderful manners, kindness and respect, but also by their ambitious attitude to learning. They have arrived ready to get stuck in, challenge themselves and make the very most of every opportunity. 🌟

We couldn’t be prouder of them. What a fantastic start to their Farnborough journey!

🏒🇬🇧 We couldn’t be prouder of Tom Hayman! 🇬🇧🏒
What an incredible achievement! Travelling to Estonia to represent England U16s in an international ice hockey tournament and finishing 2nd! 🥈

We are incredibly proud that Tom is part of our school community and to see him representing England on the international stage. 💛🏒

Now, after such an amazing summer, we can’t wait to welcome Tom back to Year 11 for his final year at school! 📚🎓 From the ice rink to the classroom, there’s another big challenge ahead with GCSEs, and we’ll be cheering him on every step of the way.

🌟 Staff INSET Day 🌟

What a fantastic day of learning, collaboration and connection at Farnborough Spencer Academy! Our staff came together for a day of professional development, sharing ideas, learning from one another and preparing for another exciting year ahead. From engaging sessions and inspiring discussions to plenty of teamwork (and a little help from our four-legged friend Juno🐶), it was a brilliant opportunity to reflect, recharge and get ready to give our students the very best. We’re incredibly proud of our amazing staff team and can’t wait to welcome our students back! 💛🖤

🏊💛 Free Swimming for Under 16s this Summer! 💛🏊

We're pleased to share that Nottingham City Council is offering FREE swimming sessions for children and young people aged under 16 throughout the summer holidays! ☀️🌊
Swimming is a fantastic way to stay active, build confidence in the water and have fun over the holidays.

📅 Booking is now open, with free sessions starting from Monday 27 July.
