•Nottinghamshire Music Hub
•Education Library Service

We're an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, which means funding thanks to tax payers and National Lottery players plays a huge part in supporting our work. By becoming a member of Inspire you will be able to have your say on how the society works and develops. You will also get a newsletter with special offers just for Inspire members plus detail and invites to our Annual General Meeting. You can still continue to enjoy the cultural, learning and library services that we provide without becoming a member (but we'd love you to join us!)

The Inspire at 10 exhibition has arrived at Beeston Library! 🚛🥳

After a few weeks on display at West Bridgford Library, the exhibition has arrived in Beeston and will be available to view during opening hours from until 30 November.

This celebratory exhibition will take you on a journey through Inspire's first decade and tells the story of how Inspire has connected people with knowledge, creativity and opportunity. Happy 10th Birthday Inspire! 🎂

The mystery begins soon! 🔎

Our Agatha Christie season kicks off at the end of this month, bringing together Inspire and Nottingham City Libraries for a programme packed with thrilling events, fascinating talks, crime challenges to solve and more.

Whether you're a lifelong Christie fan or simply love a good whodunnit, there's something to help you step into the world of the Queen of Crime! 🕵️‍♂️

Bi-lingual volunteers wanted! 🔊

We're looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help review translated library information. We've translated the documents covering our library joining procedures and how to use our computer & printing facilities, and are looking for bi-lingual speakers to check them for accuracy and clarity.

We're looking for speakers of any of the following languages:
❄️ Romanian
🌵 Lithuanian
🍒 Punjabi (Gurmukhi)
🍨 Arabic
🌻Latvian
🪐Russian
🐠Urdu

By volunteering for this role, you'll help make our library services more accessible and welcoming for people who speak different languages in our communities, and help ensure that important info is easy to understand and culturally appropriate.

This role can be carried out from home or wherever is best for you.

For challenge number 10, we'd love for you to thank a member of staff ❤️ Over the last decade, we've built something we're proud of for the people of Nottinghamshire: spaces and services that bring reading, learning and culture to life. But we couldn't have done it without our wonderful members of staff!

Perhaps its the friendly Library Customer Service Advisor who helped you pick that book you haven't been able to put down, or the Inspire Learning tutor who helped you get the grades you've dreamed of.
