💜 This week, pupils and staff across Greenwood Academies Trust celebrated GCSE results day.
It has been another brilliant year of results for pupils, and we congratulate them and their families, as well as our brilliant colleagues on their dedication and hard work.
This year, GCSE results day was celebrated at City of Peterborough Academy, Kingswood Secondary Academy, Nottingham Academy, Nottingham Girls’ Academy, Skegness Academy, Stanground Academy, The Brunts Academy, The Wells Academy and Weston Favell Academy, with many pupils now continuing their studies with us at Sixth Form.
Of course, we are incredibly proud of all pupils, but to share a very small sample of these achievements, some individual performances include:
⭐ Hassan Dahir, from Nottingham Academy, who successfully achieved grade 9s in English language, English literature, biology, physics, chemistry, maths and further maths; two Distinction*s in information technology and enterprise and marketing; a grade 8 in statistics; and a grade 7 in Arabic.
⭐ Ada Cinar, from City of Peterborough Academy, who celebrated 11 GCSE qualifications with three at grade 9, one at grade 8 and seven at a grade 7.
⭐ Maya Mansoor, from Nottingham Girls’ Academy, who earned grade 9s in English language, English literature, history, biology, chemistry, physics and sociology; grade 8s in maths and Polish; a grade 7 in statistics; and a grade 6 in Spanish.
⭐ Jessica Lesniak, from Kingswood Secondary Academy, who received grade 9s in English Literature, English language and history. Jessica also achieved a 9-9 in science, a Level 2 Distinction* in information technology, a Level 2 Distinction in enterprise and marketing and an 8 in maths.
⭐ Muhammad Imran, from The Wells Academy, who achieved grade 9s in combined science and Urdu; grade 8s in English language, maths and further maths; and a Level 2 Distinction* in sport science.
⭐ Thomas Latto, from Skegness Academy, who proudly received a 7 in maths, 6s in English literature and geography, a Level 2 Distinction* in sport, a 6-6 in science and a 5 in English language.
⭐ Miklos Lelesz, from Stanground Academy, who produced an impressive portfolio of nine GCSE and vocational qualifications, including strong grade 6s in English and mathematics and grade 7s in science.
⭐ Coral Jenkin, from The Brunts Academy, who excelled in achieving grade 9s and a Distinction* across all her chosen GCSEs, including English language, English literature, maths, biology, chemistry, physics, art and drama.
⭐ Anotida Bhuza, from Weston Favell Academy, who celebrated grade 9s in English literature, geography, French, biology and chemistry. Anotida also achieved a grade 8 in maths, a Distinction* in information technology, 7s in physics and statistics and a 6 in English language.
