🌿 What an incredible experience for pupils and families at Queensmead Primary Academy in Leicester!

When the idea of a “pop-up” wetland was first suggested, no one quite expected just how impressive it would be - it’s safe to say it has been a huge success.

Throughout the week, children have had the opportunity to explore the wetland, discovering nature in a hands-on and exciting way right on their doorstep. It’s been fantastic to see their enthusiasm and curiosity brought to life.

A huge thank you to the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) for making this possible - such a generous and inspiring opportunity for our school community. 👏

We’re so proud of The Brunts Academy following a fantastic Ofsted inspection outcome 🌟

Chris Fisher, Executive Principal, shared:

“This outcome belongs to our pupils, who show resilience, ambition and pride every day; to our families, who place their trust in us; and to our staff, whose commitment and care make such a positive difference to young people’s lives.”

CEO Wayne Norrie also praised the Academy’s strong leadership, inclusive culture and clear focus on delivering the very best education for all pupils.

The Brunts Academy is right at the heart of Mansfield, and this recognition reflects the shared belief that every young person deserves to feel safe, supported and inspired to succeed. We’re excited to keep building on this strong foundation together 💙
