Introduction to Makaton - 21 September

We will be running two introduction sessions for members on 21 Sept (10am - 12pm or 1pm - 3pm).

Delivered by EG training, it will provide the basics for those who support Makaton users.

The branch's ULRs were out in force yesterday for our final book swap of the summer readathon.

We will be continuing to provide access to books every last Wednesday of the month outside of the readathon too so please keep coming along and seeing if there is anything that takes your fancy.

We were also joined by our local organiser, Jude, who did a floor walk to discuss the benefits of joining UNISON with Loxley House staff.

If you missed us, please don't worry, Emma will be joining our local organiser at the stall today to have a chat and answer any questions you have.

Our last summer book swap stall will be on the ground floor of Loxley House (opposite the lifts) tomorrow between 12-2pm.

Bring books you've read, take books you'd like to read and don't forget to submit your reviews to us to be in for a chance of being entered into our prize draw.
