❤🐵 From Monkey Tree to Doggie Adoption…with Alex & Danielle! 🐵❤

The couple met 15 years ago in The Monkey Tree, West Bridgford, on a night out with friends. Alex proposed to Danielle in Dubai in January 2024. They were celebrating Alex’s 40th birthday and their son’s 18th birthday, and on their last day Alex surprised Danielle by proposing on a private boat - Danielle had absolutely no idea it was coming! 😍

Alex & Danielle have chosen to marry in Nottinghamshire at Hodsock Priory, on Saturday 29th August 2026, because Danielle says, “we wanted to make the most of the Bank Holiday weekend as we’ve got family and friends travelling from both the north and south of the country. As soon as we arrived at Hodsock, we both just looked at each other and knew it was the one. We loved that we’d have the venue exclusively for our wedding, there are rooms on site for guests staying over, and everything is in one place without feeling too spread out.” 😎

Alex & Danielle’s wedding theme is ‘Summer Black Tie’. Their bridesmaids will be wearing pastel blue and pink dresses, and their guests will enjoy personalised canapés and signature cocktails at the drinks reception. The happy couple are looking forward to good food, good company, lots of drinks and a dance floor full of their favourite people! 🪩

After the big day, Alex & Danielle will be spending two weeks on the west coast of the USA, visiting San Francisco, Las Vegas and LA. Danielle says, “We’ve already been together a long time and have done a lot together, so the only thing left on our list is getting a dog, which is the plan when we get back from our honeymoon!” 🐾

We can’t wait to welcome you Alex & Danielle and to share in your Black Tie Bank Holiday wedding day! 🥰

❤👾 Monster Hunters Forever…with Amy & Aidan! 👾❤

The couple met in late 2019 playing an online game called ‘Monster Hunter: World!’ They were just online friends for ages before realising their relationship had become something more romantic. They met in person for the first time in the summer of 2020, when COVID restrictions eased slightly and households were allowed to form support bubbles 💞

Amy & Aidan have chosen to marry in Nottinghamshire at Pippley Walled Garden, on Sunday 30th August 2026, because Aidan says, “It's just such a beautiful venue. Amy went there for an event a few years ago and the food was great so that was also a factor. In terms of the date, it's a nice even number and convenient that it falls on a bank holiday to have the day before and after to prepare/recover.” 😍

Amy & Aidan have chosen our Bespoke Ceremony service for their big day, because they wanted the ceremony to be a true reflection of them and their love story. Amy says, “Working with Janet has been great - she came to our home for the original meeting in the evening which was super convenient and she's been extremely responsive at sending over our revised drafts. She has also been very helpful with suggestions for the ceremony and is just generally a lovely person.” 😇

Since Amy & Aidan first met while playing Monster Hunter, they've woven their shared love of the game throughout their wedding day. Their guest tables are named after the Elder Dragons, complete with figurines as part of the décor, and music from the game will feature throughout both their ceremony and reception 😎

We can’t wait to welcome you Amy & Aidan and to share in your perfectly ‘you’ wedding day! 🥰

❤🌈 A Doubly Joyful Proposal…with Rob & Holly! 🌈❤

The couple met 10 years ago while working together at a car dealership and have now been together for 9 wonderful years. They share two beautiful children and a beloved dog 🐾

In January 2025, on the same emotional day they discovered they were expecting their second child, a much-wanted rainbow baby, Rob proposed at Belvoir Castle. With the castle grounds quiet and iced over, it created the perfect intimate setting for Rob, Holly and their little boy, as they celebrated the start of their next chapter together 💖

Rob & Holly have chosen to marry in Nottinghamshire at Bridgford Hall, West Bridgford Registration Office, on Saturday 29th August 2026, because Holly says, “Rob is originally from Liverpool, and we wanted family to have a long weekend after the wedding. Our little girl will be nearly 1 year old, so she’s got a Jellycat flower bouquet to hold instead of real flowers! We are having our reception at the Royal Oak in their lodge.” 💐

With a nearly one-year-old and a three-year-old keeping them busy, Rob and Holly have opted for a familymoon. A week after their wedding, they'll be making special memories together with their children on a family getaway to Centre Parcs 😎

Rob & Holly’s take on marriage? “We knew after having our children, and going through a miscarriage, that we just really wanted to get married and be united as a family, all with the same surname, and we absolutely cannot wait for the day to be here now!” 😍

We can’t wait to welcome you Rob & Holly and to share in your happy family wedding day! 🥰

❤🌞 Ice-cream and Sunshine…with Simon & Louise! 🌞❤

The couple met in 2015 when they started working in the same department at Lincolnshire County Council. Their friendship grew through the years, and they finally started dating in 2021. Simon proposed to Louise on Christmas morning under the Christmas tree with their two-year-old daughter, a special moment for their little family 🎄

Simon & Louise have chosen to marry in Nottinghamshire at Kelham House Country Manor, on Saturday 29th August 2026, because Louise says, “We stumbled upon Kelham House and instantly fell in love. We've always wanted a summer wedding so (hopefully!) we'll have lots of sunshine and warm weather to make the most of both the indoor and outdoor space our venue provides. We've also got an ice cream bike booked, with the lovely ‘Jenni and Ice Cream’, which our guests can enjoy in the summer sunshine!” 🍦

The week after the wedding Simon & Louise’s daughter is starting primary school, so honeymoon plans will be on hold until the October holidays, when they hope to take their first trip to Amsterdam as a married couple 🇳🇱

Simon & Louise’s words of wisdom? “Remember that this day is all about you and your partner - fill the day with the people and things that bring you both happiness and don't worry about outside opinions or expectations.” 😍

We can’t wait to welcome you Simon & Louise and to share in your sunny summer wedding day! 🥰

❤🎰 Witness Roulette…with Warren & Laura-Jayne! 🎰❤

The couple met in 2020 at i-Jump Trampoline Park in Mansfield, where Warren would take his son, Oliver, and Laura-Jayne would take her daughters, Lola and Elsa. They got engaged on a family holiday to Egypt 2024 💍

Warren & Laura-Jayne have chosen to marry in Nottinghamshire at The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club, on Sunday 30th August 2026, because Laura-Jayne says, “We loved the venue for the price and also loved the wedding coordinator, Albina, she knows exactly what we want. We chose a bank holiday because we’re a cricket family and didn’t want our wedding to clash with a cricket match!” 🏏

For the ceremony, Warren & Laura-Jayne will be wearing traditional wedding attire but they’ve told their guests to wear whatever they want! They won’t be having a sit-down meal or any speeches. Instead, they’re going straight from the ceremony to the party 🥳

As a bit of fun, Warren & Laura-Jayne’s witnesses will be chosen by chance – there’ll be two pens placed on random seats and whoever sits on those chairs will be their witnesses! Their welcome drinks will be shots (we’ve tied the knot let’s have a shot!) They’re hoping for a very laid-back celebration vibe 😎

After the big day, Warren & Laura-Jayne will be honeymooning in the Maldives. Their plans for the future? “to keep being us! We have our kids and our home, so we just want to enjoy life together as husband and wife.” 😍

We can’t wait to welcome you Warren & Laura-Jayne and to share in your laid-back, family wedding day! 🥰

❤🍾 Let the Vodka Decide…with Joshua & Liberty! 🍾❤

The couple met just after the first Covid lockdown through a mutual friend. They spent many of their early dates enjoying long walks together and getting to know one another 💞

On 19th November 2023, Joshua proposed to Liberty at Swithland Wood, a place that held special meaning as the location where they spent time together during those early dates. Although the engagement ring had been chosen a year earlier, Joshua kept Liberty waiting a little longer to ensure the proposal remained a surprise 💍

Joshua & Liberty have chosen to marry in Nottinghamshire at Swancar Farm Country House, on Saturday 29th August 2026. As a nod to Joshua's Polish heritage, the wedding favours are bottles of Polish cherry vodka. The couple will also take part in a traditional Polish wedding custom, choosing between two shot glasses, one filled with vodka and one with water. Whoever gets the vodka is said to be in charge in the marriage! Afterwards, the glasses will be smashed for good luck 😍

After the big day, Joshua and Liberty will be enjoying a mini-moon in the Mediterranean. Looking ahead, they're hoping to welcome baby number two and embark on a dream honeymoon to New Zealand 🇳🇿

We can’t wait to welcome you Joshua & Liberty and to share in your super smashing wedding day! 🥰

❤🍬 Sweets and Spreadsheets…with Faye & Ashley! 🍬❤

The couple met in the summer of 2020 during the Covid pandemic, however, their connection actually stretches back much further, as they attended the same secondary school in 2007. Although they were in the same year group, they were in different halves of the year, so while they knew of each other, their paths rarely crossed 🌺

On 25th August 2024, Ashley surprised Faye with a secret proposal in Weymouth. The special moment had been planned 7 months in advance, allowing family members to travel and celebrate with them, all while keeping the engagement a complete surprise for Faye 😍

Faye & Ashley have chosen to marry in Nottinghamshire at The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club, on Saturday 29th August 2026 💖

They have added plenty of personal touches to their wedding day, including favour bags filled with their favourite sweets. A significant theme throughout the celebration is remembering those who are sadly no longer with them. Honouring the loved ones who played such important roles in their lives was something the couple felt strongly about, ensuring their presence would be felt throughout the day 🥹

Following the wedding, the newlyweds will be heading to Disney World Florida for a family-moon during the October half-term break. Their four-year-old is especially excited for the adventure ahead! 😃

Faye & Ashley’s words of wisdom on planning a wedding? “Get used to using Excel! The last 2 years we have lived within Excel making sure all vendors are tracked, that way you know you are on budget as weddings are crazy expensive! I think what's also important to remember is that it’s your day, so you need to make sure you enjoy it as much as your guests.” 😎

We can’t wait to welcome you Faye & Ashley and to share in your fun, family wedding day! 🥰

❤✨ CONGRATULATIONS to Trinity & Lewis! ✨❤

Married in Nottinghamshire at The Victoria Suite, Worksop Registration Office, on the Summer Solstice, Sunday 21st June 2026 😍

The couple met on Bumble in 2024 and instantly clicked. Before long, they welcomed their daughter, Juniper, into the world, and soon afterwards their family grew again with the arrival of baby Edward 🤱

In April last year, the family faced a life-changing challenge when Trinity's father was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. The diagnosis prompted deep reflection about what truly matters in life. Trinity's dad shared that one of his lifelong dreams was to walk one of his daughters down the aisle. A great lover of weddings and romance, it was a dream he hoped to fulfil 🥹

With this in mind, Trinity and Lewis decided it was time to take the next step and get married. They chose Father's Day for their wedding, making the occasion even more meaningful for their family 💖

The couple celebrated with beautiful wildflowers at their reception in honour of the Summer Solstice, and they shared their first dance to ‘Honeybee’. Trinity looked stunning in a dress from the hidden gem that is ‘House of Rose Bespoke’, located within Green Scene Garden Centre, where she received exceptional care and speedy alterations 😇

Their wedding day was filled with joy and personal touches, including plenty of bubbles for their children, who absolutely love them. In fact, little Juniper made a memorable entrance down the aisle carrying her bubble gun instead of flowers 🔫

For Trinity's father, the day was especially emotional and exciting, as one of his greatest wishes was coming true. In the midst of a difficult and painful chapter for the family, the wedding brought light, love and happiness, with Trinity and Lewis surrounded by everyone they hold dear 🥰
