❤🎱 An Eight-Hour First Date…with Lydia & Ashley! 🎱❤
The couple met in September 2023 at The Brayford in Lincoln and ended up spending around eight hours together on their very first date! From that day on, The Brayford became a place filled with special memories, making it the perfect setting for Ashley’s romantic proposal by the water clock on the 1st November 2025 😍
Lydia & Ashley have chosen to marry in Nottinghamshire at The Gilstrap, Newark Registration Office, on Saturday 10th October 2026, because Lydia says, “we wanted an autumn wedding - we love the colours and cosiness of the season. Ashley grew up in Newark and mentioned The Gilstrap, and after seeing it, we loved the beautiful setting. It felt like the perfect place to start our married life together.” 💞
For their special day, Lydia will be wearing a stunning A-line lace wedding dress with a V-neck, featuring a tulle underskirt and satin layer. Ashley and the boys will complement the autumn theme perfectly in blue tweed three-piece suits, paired with crisp white shirts and burgundy ties or bow ties 🍂
Family is at the heart of Lydia and Ashley’s relationship, and their ceremony will reflect that beautifully. Lydia’s sons, Mason and Jaxon, along with the couple’s daughter, Lola, will all play important roles in the ceremony, making the occasion especially meaningful as they celebrate becoming one family 💖
Following the ceremony, Lydia and Ashley will continue the celebrations at the Glass Lounge in Retford, surrounded by 50 of their closest family and friends. With good food, drinks and the people they love most, they are looking forward to an intimate and memorable evening marking the start of married life together 🥳
