It is our responsibility to audit Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council housing services, and act as advocates to residents, while aiming to empower them through Resident Involvement.

🚨 The Council’s Emergency Out of Hours Number has changed. The new number is 024 7637 6999 and is for emergency situations only. 🚨

📞 The number is operational from 5pm to 8am, Monday to Friday, and on Bank Holidays from 5pm on the last working day prior, until 8am on the next working day. 🕗

📱 The service runs at weekends between 5pm on Fridays and 8am on Mondays. 📅

🚦For any issues regarding roads, paths, street lighting, traffic lights, and oil or diesel spills, contact Warwickshire County Council on 01926 410 410. ☎️

Due to bollard repair work, the Abbey Street vehicular exit in Nuneaton town centre will be closed for three days from Sunday, 15 March to Tuesday 17 March.

Residents in Nuneaton and Bedworth are encouraged to follow the SCRAP code to avoid being caught out by those intending to fly-tip your waste. The Council takes a zero-tolerance approach to fly-tipping, which means failure to follow the code could mean you are held liable.

Passenger Safety Taxi Advice for Christmas and New Year

Taxi incidents in North Warwickshire are rare. NWBC licenses vetted drivers and tested, insured vehicles. Check badges and plates, use reputable firms, and never use unlicensed or delivery drivers.

Incidents involving taxis in North Warwickshire are very rare and all NWBC taxi drivers and vehicles are thoroughly vetted and checked before a driver is issued with a licence or a vehicle is issued with a plate.

The vehicles must undergo stringent safety checks and are tested twice a year to ensure they are roadworthy, and the vehicle must be insured to carry passengers for hire and reward.
