Nuneaton Conservatives are a modern, forward-looking Association, made up of local like-minded people from all walks of life, whose primary objective is to elect Conservative Party representatives to Westminster, Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Councils. Our aims are:

Promoting the Conservative cause within the Nuneaton constituency and beyond. Ensuring the election an

d retention of Conservative Members of Parliament, Conservative Councillors, Conservative Police and Crime Commissioners. Raising funds through political and social events in order to campaign and fight elections. Maintaining contact between local residents and our elected representatives. STATEMENT ON NBBC FULL COUNCIL

Tonight, Conservative councillors voted to let Reform take the leadership of the Council. While the election may not be the result we wanted we will respect the clear wishes of the majority of residents. We will not support a coalition of chaos with Labour and the Greens.

Our only purpose in doing so is that our residents need and deserve a stable council that will deliver the services we all rely on. Our votes tonight protect the stability of our services.

In politics, as in life, you have to play with the cards you're dealt and not with the cards you would like to have. Unlike some councillors tonight who walked out, we will not throw our dummies out the pram.

To be clear. Our support is on an issue by issue basis and not a coalition. Where we agree with Reform we will support them. Where they are wrong we will stop them.

Reform need to be held to account and challenged. We will be chairing the Council committees as we are best placed to hold their feet to the fire and provide the robust and serious scrutiny that ensures Reform are not allowed a clear run and can put the hand break on to protect the residents of Nuneaton and Bedworth.

Tomorrow is ELECTION DAY!!!!!!

Very proud of our candidates this year. No doubt you have seen out posts over the last few weeks. We have been reaching out to our communities and listening to what matters most to residents in Nuneaton & Bedworth.

We are here to SERVE YOU!!! We are here to LISTEN TO YOU!!! and if we are given a majority, we will make sure LOCAL ISSUES will be addressed as representatives of the Borough. Unlike other parties, we will not HIDE BEHIND the NATIONAL NARATIVE. We will FOCUS on running an effective borough council that will provide EVERYDAY VALUABLE improvements to our towns and urban areas.

As the countdown to Thursday continues, our teams have been out again delivering our message that our candidates are the only ones on the ballot paper will be a team that puts Nuneaton and our residents first.

As we enter the final days of campaigning, we've had teams out and about across Nuneaton spreading the message to residents that it is only a Conservative Council after Thursday that can deliver a serious and responsible Town Hall. We won't be chasing Westminster careers or soap opera shenanigans.

Enjoying the sunshine out in Eastboro ward tonight with hardworking Hari Khela. The only way to ensure we have a local councillor who stands up for Eastboro and not chase Westminster careers is to vote for Hari next Thursday.

Great to be out speaking with residents in Whitestone tonight with our candidate Michael Green. Many people saying they will be backing the Conservatives on 7 May to deliver value for money and quality local services.

Hari Khela has been out and about tonight in Eastboro ward tonight fighting for every vote. As a councillor he would bring energy, experience and determination to stand up for Eastboro - not chasing a Westminster career.

The spring blossom was looking particularly lovely this evening while we were out knocking on doors supporting Jamie Hartshorn for St Nicolas. Many residents are saying how impressed they are with Kemi Badenoch's performance as Leader and supporting their local Tory team.

Our hardworking candidate Vijay Rughoo and team were out in Attleborough today speaking to residents. Vijay is determined to give local residents in Attleborough the representation they have been missing for the past 2 years under Labour.

Narrowly avoided the thunder and lightening tonight whilst out with Michael Green in Whitestone. Local people pleased to see and chat to us and recognise the work we've done locally.
