My name is Sue Poskitt and I am a qualified Early Years / Primary Teacher. I have worked in a variety of educational roles for over twenty years. I became a full-time tutor several years ago and have run 'Top Tuition' very successfully ever since. Subjects Offered
I am qualified to teach all subjects required by the Early Years and Primary Curriculum. I can therefor
e help with home-schooling or pre-school preparation, in addition to the usual requests for help with Maths and English in KS1 and 2. I offer SATs preparation for both English and Maths and private school / Grammar entrance exam preparation. Top Tuition Teaching Room
Lessons take place in the Top Tuition teaching room, which is fully resourced for teaching individuals, or small groups of children. Parents are always welcome to stay and observe lessons, if they wish. Teaching
I offer a 1-2-1 tuition service for children between the ages of 5-11 primarily in Maths, Science and English. These are core subjects any individual uses in whatever career path they choose to take and more importantly throughout their entire life. Having the qualifications in core subjects makes it easier for them to gain entry into good colleges, universities and finally help them land a safe, sound and secure job. Approach
I personally tutor the children individually in a manner that suits their own personaility and ability. I want the children I tutor to have fun whilst they learn but also have a serious approach to their work. I want the children to come out of their shell and achieve their maximum potential.
