It’s great to see such positive steps being taken ahead of the festival 🌲🎶 supporting local communities and helping keep everyone safe this weekend

05/06/2026

🌲✨ Forbidden Forest begins today at Belvoir Castle, and whether you’re heading in for the music or live nearby, we’ve got a few tips and updates to share with you.

The local communities have helped us identify concerns raised around noise, anti-social behaviour and safety. As part of , we’ve been on site with our police dogs Jazz and Steem🐶 searching the festival grounds following reports of items being buried ahead of the event.

Good news, nothing was found, but rest assured, we’ll continue to work closely with festival security, and any illegal activity will be dealt with quickly. We’re also supporting new traffic routes and noise reduction measures introduced this year to minimise disruption to nearby villages.🚗

Throughout the weekend, we’ll have a visible police presence in and around Belvoir Castle, plus dedicated patrols in nearby villages to keep things running smoothly.
If you’re attending, enjoy the atmosphere, look out for each other, and make smart choices.

Let’s keep the weekend memorable for the right reasons!
