Capturing our Coast Scotland

Capturing our Coast Scotland Capturing our Coast (CoCoast) is a marine citizen science project tackling key issues relating to the UK coastline.

Capturing our Coast is a UK-wide project to survey and protect our coastlines, and in particular to investigate how the marine environment is responding to climate change. If you live or holiday by the seaside, we would welcome you as a volunteer surveyor: to find out more log on to our website (coming soon), or email [email protected]. In Scotland, the lead organisation is the Scottish Associati

on for Marine Science based in Oban, but training sessions and support are available in a range of locations across Scotland. CoCoast is generously funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, led by Newcastle University and run in partnership with NGOs, academic institutions and members of the public around the UK.
