SOUTH EAST WATER LIMITED - Temporary Road Closure - B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Offham - 1st June 2026 (Tonbridge and Malling District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by SOUTH EAST WATER LIMITED, it will be necessary to close part of B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Offham, from 1st June 2026 with estimated completion by 3rd June 2026.

B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Offham, will be closed in the vicinity of Viking Oak Kennels, between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2016 Seven Mile Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A228 Malling Road, Ashton Way, King Hill, Herald Drive, St Leonards Street, High Street, Town Hill, A20 London Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow cover repair works to be carried out, works are undertaken by SOUTH EAST WATER LIMITED.

At the TMBC Housing and Planning Scrutiny Select Committee meeting of Tuesday 17 March 2026, responses to the Local Plan consultation were discussed.

One of the most interesting responses we received to the consultation was from South East Water, responded by saying they could not accommodate development above what they have already planned for.

This has required us to review how water infrastructure considerations are taken into account when determining planning applications, whilst also accounting for this in preparation of the next stage of the Local Plan.

Openreach - Temporary Road Closure - Aldon Lane, Offham - 15th April 2026 (Tonbridge and Malling District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of Aldon Lane, Offham, from 15th April 2026 with estimated completion by 16th April 2026.

Aldon Lane, Offham, will be closed from the junction with A20 London Road, for a distance approximately 100 metres in a South direction. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A20 London Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Teston Road, Aldon Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Openreach.

OPENREACH LIMITED - Temporary Road Closure - Teston Road, Offham - 15th April 2026 (Tonbridge and Malling District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by OPENREACH LIMITED, it will be necessary to close part of Teston Road, Offham, from 15th April 2026 with estimated completion by 16th April 2026.

Teston Road, Offham, will be closed from 100 metres East of the junction with Aldon Road, for a distance approximately 100 metres in an East direction. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Teston Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Comp Lane, Teston Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, works are undertaken by OPENREACH LIMITED.

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to close part of Comp Lane, Offham, from 9th April 2026 with estimated completion by 9th April 2026.

Comp Lane, Offham, will be closed between the junction with B2016 Seven Mile Lane and the junction with Teston Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Comp Lane, Teston Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Comp Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow drainage cleansing works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
