We are incredibly excited to team up with Oldham Coliseum Theatre and Comedy In A Van to bring top-tier stand-up to Oldham’s brand new event space—The Loom!
Get ready for an unbelievable night of comedy featuring Tez Ilyas (Man Like Mobeen, Live at the Apollo), Stephen Bailey (Celebrity Mastermind, Celebrity Weakest Link, Madame Blanc Mysteries), Liverpool’s Katie Tracey, and MC Mick Ferry (‘As good as it gets’ Big Issue ★★★★★ Mirror).
Tez Ilyas
A regular on BBC One’s Live At The Apollo, Tez Ilyas is also known for Man Like Mobeen (BBC Three) and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. Tez has appeared on everything from The One Show to The News Quiz and, of course, his very own The Tez O’Clock Show on Channel 4. He is a phenomenally funny comedian who refuses to shy away from trickier subjects yet never forgets that the laughs need to come thick and fast.
★★★★★ Mirror | ★★★★ The Times | ★★★★ The Telegraph | ★★★★ Sunday Times
Stephen Bailey
A proud Northern, working-class, gay man. Although well known as a TV presenter and actor, it’s the arena of live stand-up comedy where Stephen really shines. Gossipy, bitchy, close to the bone even, but with such an infectious sense of fun that everyone gets the joke and no one is left behind.
“Natural talent” Metro | “Rising star” The Sun | “Fabulously funny” The Guardian | “Hilarious from the first line” Voice
Mick Ferry
Your compere for the evening is proud Oldhamer and Comedy Store and Frog & Bucket veteran, Mick Ferry! Whether he’s running with a scatterbrained idea, an audience suggestion, or dipping into his extensive mental files of absolute, top-drawer gags and routines, the end result is a barrage of laughter from a very happy audience—which is exactly what we are all about here at The Loom.
★★★★★ Mirror | “Absolute legend” Jason Manford | “As good as it gets” Big Issue
Katie Tracey
Your evening comes complete with a fantastic set from Liverpool’s own Katie Tracey.
The incredible comedians you will see at the Oldham Comedy Club in September 2026 are expertly booked by our friends at Comedy In A Van. Grab your tickets now, and we can't wait to welcome you to The Loom!
