📢The Big Walk to Blackpool!📢

❤️ One of our wonderful Blackpool SENDIASS Officers, Shanaya, has organised a walk, Miles for Myles, with her POINT colleagues participating.

🚶 To honour her amazing brother Myles, who passed away five years ago at the age of 28, we are walking from the POINT offices in Chadderton to Myles’ home in Blackpool, which will be an estimated 50 miles!

💷 Every donation raised will be put towards MYLES- Making Your Life Emotionally Stronger, a new mental health and grief support service operated by POINT.

If you would be interested in walking with us, please email [email protected].

If you would like to donate, please see the JustGiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/milesformyles?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL&utm_campaign=lc_frp_share_transaction_transactional_--_page_launched_--_charity

Children (and adults) can experience sensory differences that limit their participation or prevent them from doing activities that people of a similar age manage easily. When this happens, they may benefit from specialist help.

This resource outlines the three main groups of sensory intervention approaches:

• Performance or Goal-Oriented Sensory Approaches
• Sensory based interventions
• Ayres Sensory Integration Intervention
