Our young people had a fantastic time on our residential trip, which focused on preparing for their future.

They met with one of our care experienced panel members, who was able to share with them what moving into independence looked like for them, and how this shaped their career working with children in care as a Personal Advisor.

The young people went on to have some interesting discussions, sharing some great ideas and contributions, which will help create a preparation for independence booklet for all our care experienced young people, as they enter their pathway to leaving care.

Alongside their project, they had lots of fun kayaking, singing, rock-climbing, pizza-making, toasting marshmallows, and making new friends! They all made us incredibly proud, and we can't wait to see the finished project.

🏉 What a game yesterday! 🏉
Halifax Panthers were consistent throughout, and we were incredibly proud to see our sponsored player, Alfie Johnson, put in a fantastic performance — scoring an amazing FOUR tries and being named Man of the Match! 👏🏆
It was lovely to spend some time with Alfie and his family after the game and celebrate such a brilliant result.
Safehouses Fostering was certainly echoing around the stadium thanks to Alfie and his outstanding performance! 💙 🤍 💙🏉

What an incredible weekend at The Open Call Festival! 🎉

It was amazing to see so many families enjoying the funfair, live entertainment, and fantastic stalls. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us about fostering.

Every conversation has the potential to change a child's future, and we're so grateful for the support and interest shown throughout the weekend.

What a fantastic first day ! It was vibrant with families, food, music, fairground rides, culture, arts, and crafts.

It was wonderful to meet so many people who were keen to learn more about fostering children and young people in the local area.

We can't wait to do it all again tomorrow. If you didn't get a chance to visit today, make sure you head there tomorrow for another fun family day 💚

We are excited to be at the this weekend! There's so much going on at Alexandra Park, Oldham. Come with your family and friends for a fun filled weekend!

Our stall has lots of activities to get involved with, including pebble painting and prizes for 'guess how many sweets' and 'guess the name of the teddy'!

Come and have a chat with our team and Foster Carers about fostering!
