Neighbourhood Prevention Hub attended Hathershaw College this morning and delivered a Safe4Summer input with year 8 students. Year 10 received the same input yesterday.

WE ARE OPEN - we've just received a concerning phone call informing us that a rumour is circulating the town !!!!! That we have closed down 😱 This is obviously a false rumour as we are here and here to STAY 😎 so please if anyone hears this rubbish - correct folk and inform them we're alive and kicking ! Times are hard without this 🙄

We appreciate that this is the first sign of the sun in a number of weeks and that the reservoir at Heaton Park may seem like a very appealing place to cool down.
However, it is private property and anyone entering the land will be trespassing. Patrols will be out and about in the park and will stop and obtain details of anyone in and around the area of the reservoir. The reservoir is incredibly cold and a dangerous place to swim. Do not enter open water.
