Are you up for fun, adventure, incredible experiences and making new friends? Then welcome to the RAF Air Cadets (RAFAC). We’re a UK-wide cadet organisation with more than 40,000 members aged between 13 and 20 years throughout the UK. We're sponsored by the Royal Air Force and can give you hands-on experience of activities and courses that will challenge and develop your skills to help you succeed in whatever you want to do.

Yesterday we were invited to attend a very special event where 11 Commonwealth War Graves Commission graves and headstones were dedicated.
These were part of the CWWGC operation "brought in from the cold".
The event was held by the Oldham Branch RBL, and we joined various other associations from our local area, and we're honoured to be joined by the Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester Mrs Diane Hawkins JP LLB and the Mayor of Oldham, Cllr Pam Byrne

A couple of weeks ago the cadets were asked if they could assist at the annual Oldham Mayors Ball with meeting and greeting his VIP guests.
Not only did they do a fabulous job of escorting his guests to the VIP room, they had the opportunity to meet other mayors from across Great Manchester along with other Civic VIPs
