✨ What really regulates? ✨

Today, our teachers and classroom assistants came together for a fantastic training session led by the wonderful Jill McCanney OT! 💙

We explored what really supports regulation, looking at the factors that make sensory regulation breaks effective and how we can create opportunities for regulation throughout our school day.

Our staff got creative too! 🙌 We developed ideas to optimise regulation during sensory breaks and explored how different spaces around our school can be used to support our pupils to feel calm, regulated and ready to learn. 🧠✨

A huge thank you to Jill for such an engaging, practical, and fun session!

🌟 Gaelic Summer Camp – Sport with a Purpose! 🌟

What a fantastic opportunity for young players to train with Tyrone senior stars while supporting a brilliant cause. 🏐💚

This camp is raising funds for Mellon Educate-Building Blitz 2026, helping build schools and create better educational opportunities for children in disadvantaged communities in Africa. 🌍📚

Great coaching, great craic and most importantly, making a difference beyond the pitch. 👏

I’m delighted to announce some fantastic Tyrone Senior Ladies & Men’s players who will be joining us at the Camp next Thursday & Friday! ⚪🔴

We’ll also have a number of experienced coaches giving up their time to help make it a brilliant two days for the children.

Come along, enjoy some football and learn from experienced Tyrone players and coaches, all while supporting a great cause! 🏐🌍

We are sharing this important recall as these toys have become very popular with children, and we know that a number of our pupils own them.

If your child has a Squeezy Dumplings toy, please check the recall information below and stop using it if it matches the affected product.

Please take a moment to read the details and share this post with anyone who may have purchased one.

⚠️ Urgent recall: Squeezy Dumplings toys are being recalled due to a serious chemical risk.

Testing found that the outer layer contains excessive levels of benzene.

If inhaled, benzene can cause irritation to the eyes, nose and throat. Exposure to larger amounts may also cause a burning sensation in the digestive tract and skin irritation.

Affected product:
Squeezy Dumplings

The product is sold in a plastic basket-style pot containing a single soft plastic dumpling.
No batch numbers or product identifiers are provided on the product or packaging.

If you have this product, stop using it immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.

💛✨ A Huge Thank You to ‘Little Jar of Joy’ ✨💛

This week, our Nursery classes enjoyed a fantastic morning at Little Jar of Joy, and we are so grateful to Rebekah for kindly gifting us this wonderful experience.

The children had so much fun exploring the imaginative play areas, enjoying role play, and letting their creativity shine.

If you haven’t visited Little Jar of Joy yet, we would highly recommend it. While the children play, parents can relax and enjoy the delicious treats available in the café.

Thank you again, Rebekah, for such a lovely and generous experience – we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to visit again!

💧🏆 Water Team are our House Champions! 🏆💧

After a fantastic year of earning points through hard work, positive behaviour and achievement, Water Team have been crowned our overall House Team winners!

🌍💨🔥💧 The competition between Earth, Wind, Fire and Water was incredibly close right to the very end, with every pupil making a fantastic contribution to their team throughout the year.

As a reward for their success, Water Team enjoyed a non-uniform day, extra playtime and some well-deserved treats!

Well done to all of our pupils for making our first year of House Teams such a success, and a huge congratulations to Water Team! 💙

What a fantastic evening at our Summer Fete! ☀️

It was wonderful to see our school community come together and even more wonderful that the weather stayed dry for the entire evening.

A huge thank you to our Parents’ Council for all of their hard work organising the event, to our staff and volunteers who helped throughout the evening, and to the fantastic local businesses who joined us, including Fire & Feed, Good Mood Food, Hunter West Nireland, Chez Manu and Johnny B’s Ice Cream, to name just a few.

From delicious food and treats to games, activities and plenty of smiles, it was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all.

From designing logos and creating eye-catching advertisements to producing and pricing their products, every step has been led by the pupils themselves.

We’re incredibly proud of the creativity, determination and teamwork they have shown while developing their exciting range of products.
