🎤 Calling all Beatles fans! 🎶

Did you know that Beatle George Harrison visited Oswestry, and nearby Llanyblodwel, on several occasions, and that he loved to play the ukulele?

Hear John Croft talk about his latest book and his friendship with George Harrison.

Wednesday 24 June 2-3pm

The front cover of John's new book shows George Harrison in the back garden of John's house in Oswestry in April 1991, and it tells the story of how, over the eleven years of their friendship John came to realise, setting aside his fame and fortune, what a lovely man George Harrison was.

Copies will be available to purchase on the day, please bring cash.

”Absolutely great and a wonderful tribute to George”

”I have really enjoyed your book, it was so very much more readable than I expected it to be and I couldn’t put it down!”

Free, limited availability, please book with library staff 01743 250351, [email protected] or send a booking request along with a contact number to us via Messenger.
