🌺Bloom for Remembrance🌺

Calling all Knitters, Crocheters and Craft Groups

Oswestry In Bloom plans to create a cascade of thousands of crafted poppies at Oswestry Guildhall for Remembrance Day 2026.

Any style or shape, use your own pattern.
Red with black (and possibly green leaf).
Must be weatherproof so not paper.
Delivered earlier the better, rather than wait until the last moment.
Deliver as you go along rather than as a total batch.
Delivery before 25th October to the Guildhall, Bailey Head Oswestry.
Would be good to commit to a number and tell us, it gives you a challenge and us an idea.
Share with you friends, family and local groups, the more the better.
We’ll collect maker’s and group’ s names on delivery.

To help us plan please register for this exciting project by messaging us here or emailing [email protected] Oswestry Climate Action Hub. Oswestry Library fans
