Spread the word so we can help more people! We are not a 'means tested' charity, this means we do not need to know about your household income and it doesn't affect your applications. Anyone can apply for support as long as they live in Telford and Shropshire, and have a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy(be it mild or severe). We help adults as well as children. We welcome applications for therapies suc
h as 'Hippotherapy' and in the past have supported families with part or full funding for equipment such as beds, specialist and non-specialist, adapted tricycles, knee pads, specialist clothing, sleep systems, wheelchairs and ipad's. In addition we also help fund a pair of shoes each year and £300 towards a holiday every twelve months. (Receipts for shoes need sending to us and holiday monies are paid direct to the company so please leave an outstanding balance of £300). If there is something on this list not mentioned that you would like help with funding, please get in touch with us for further discussion. We do need a confirmation letter of diagnosis for each new applicant (once we have this on file you don't need to submit with every application), and depending on what your applying for we request a supporting letter from a leading professional such as a physiotherapist, social worker or Occupational Therapist for example.
