Last year, my kids set us a target to visit 100 different parks in 2024. 100 park challenge smashed 🌟 They have set us a new target of 120 playground adventures in 2025! 🛝 We are gonna review them on here as we go!

At Grove Hill Park, Otley.

Well, target achieved, we flew through the last 3 in one day!

This one was a new one to us never been before and we must have driven past it loads of times!

Another great playground, but we spent the whole time playing floor is lava and taking photos! 🤣🤣

At Westbourne Park, Otley.

Hidden in behind some houses is a playground in Otley.

A lovely little play area, hard to find if you are seeking it out! 🤣

Its got plenty here though, lots of swings, slides, roundabout and seesaw, however we spent most of the time playing floor is lava though 🤣🤣

At Old Pool Bank Village Hall.

A few weeks ago we achieved our target, heres the final few!

Tucked away near the airport at a little hamlet called Old Pool Bank we found a very small play area behind the village hall.

We did struggle to find the actual gate and walked around it twice before we got in! 🤣🤣

Just 2 swings and a climbing frame not much taller than Saoirse! But it did have a basketball hoop and a football net!

More benches in here than play equipment! 🤣🤣

At Tarn House Holiday Park, Skipton.

Park in the Dark! 🌙🌙🌌

A great idea i thought! A bit different! We will have the whole playground to ourselves!

Soooooo, it didn't work out like that! 🤣🤣 Not my best idea! I thought there would be a few streetlamps 🤣🤣 apparently not, it was pitch dark and started raining by the time we got there!

A great play area in the daylight! Couldn't see anything! Stupid idea! 🤣🤣🤣

Not my photos cos it was too dark 🤣

Kids rating - 8 in the daylight and 0 in the dark! 🤣

At Calverley Victoria Park, Leeds.

Well, we were going to a family birthday party and we found a new one on the way! To be fair it was freezing, but we gave it a go all the same!

It was actually a nice play area, and if it wasn't so cold we would have appreciated it more. A good seesaw here that bounces you up in the air 🤣🤦‍♀️ and a few slides and swings to go at. And a roundabout too!

Spotted it from the main road so easy to find too 🤣🤣

At Hayfield View Play Area, Glusburn.

A small play area in the new housing estate, it is very pleasant and all brand new! There's no swings or slides here, it's all made of wood.

There's just a climbing frame and an obstacle course to occupy and a bucket roundabout in the corner.

Doesn't take long to get bored here! 🤣

At Litton Road Play Area, Fell Lane, Keighley.

A small play area hidden in a housing estate in Keighley.

It's only got a couple of swings, a slide and a rope climbing frame, but a quiet little area for them to enjoy.

We didn't spend long here as it got too cold, but was worth a visit.

At Myrtle Park, Bingley.

Well, next we moved onto Myrtle Park, we came here last year and Saoirse fell on the obstacle course and made her nose bleed lots! This trip was less eventful and we spent most of our time in the baby park.

A very high slide in the bigger play area and and all round a really good play area!

There's some swings, and climbing frame, and roundabout and the obstacle course.

This park has a cafe and ice cream shop on site too!

At Gilstead Recreation Ground.

A good little playground here, a very unusual climbing frame that no one could really work out what to do with! 🙈🙈

A seesaw for 3 people which is an experience! 🤣🤣 some swings and some bucket roundabouts and a slide. We stayed here a while playing in the sun!

A mediocre score, kids rating - 7.

At Magowan Play Park, Creggan, Derry.

A few to catch up on now, we are getting near to our target!

Well, this was the last one of our holiday and it was disappointing! The kids wouldn't even stay here for more than 2 minutes!

From the outside it looks grand, a few swings and slide, rope climbing frame and all the usual stuff!

There was a padlocked gate which put them off even though the other gate was open! 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ 🤣 but when we got in a hole had been burned in the swing! The rest was ok but the girls declared this park a right off and gave it a poor score!

At Ballymagowan Play Park, Creggan, Derry.

In the middle of a housing estate there's a few swings here which we spent most of our time on. There's a rope climbing frame here too, which Saoirse had a climb to the top of it!

A couple of slides too, which were too wet to go on though!
