We’re launching our first Christmas Card Competition for children aged 4–12!

🕯️ The theme is: Candle safety

We’d love children across Oxfordshire to get creative and design a Christmas card that helps share an important message about staying safe around candles this festive season.

🏆 The winner will get the chance to meet the crew at their local fire station!

Would you or someone you know benefit from a little extra help staying safe at home?

Our Keep Safe and Well visits are completely FREE, and are designed to help identify potential risks in the home, provide practical advice and, where appropriate, fit free smoke alarms to help keep you and your loved ones safe. 🚨

A firefighter can visit your home and offer advice tailored to you and your circumstances.

Worried about a family member, friend or neighbour?

You can also arrange a visit on their behalf.
It’s a simple way to help make sure the people who matter to you are safe, well and protected at home.

As the weather gets hotter, rivers, lakes and reservoirs can look tempting.
But even on a hot day, the water can be dangerously cold, causing cold water shock in seconds.

Fifteen young people across the country have already lost their lives this summer.

A simple conversation after school or college today could help your child make safer choices and avoid a tragedy in your family.
