OCVA We enable a diverse community and voluntary sector to flourish in Oxfordshire. Our aim is to make support available to anyone in whichever form they require.

We support and empower volunteers, networks, non-profit organisations and the community. We can provide advice on funding, business development, networking, volunteer recruitment, placements and training. No problem is too big or small.

Age UK Oxfordshire will provide a free benefits training and awareness session at our next Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum.

This is particularly useful for organisations supporting older people in Oxfordshire. Information and resources will be shared to ensure staff and volunteers feel confident having conversations about welfare benefits to ensure people are not missing out.

Small Charity Week is an important opportunity to celebrate the valuable contribution that small charities make to communities.

Over the past year, we have worked alongside hundreds of local groups to help them thrive, delivering support calls, funding searches and training courses.

Volunteering remains a crucial part of the sector’s success and we support this through Oxonvolunteers.org

Small charities face increasing challenges, from financial pressures to growing demand for their services. OCVA remains committed to empowering these organisations, helping them build resilience, strengthen their impact and ensuring their voices are heard.

During Small Charity Week, we're celebrating their achievements and will continue to support every step of the way.
