Activities Oxfordshire

Activities Oxfordshire Welcome to Activities Oxfordshire and Oxfordshire Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme Thank you for reading the above and visiting our page.

This project supports and links up all different kinds of organisations which offer positive, organised, leisure-time activities for young people in Oxfordshire. Including information from The Holiday Activity and Food Programme (HAF), which is funded by the Department of Education. It provides organised holiday activities for children who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals and wh

o are in Reception through to Year 11. The activities run in the long school holidays; the six-week summer holiday, the two-week spring holiday and the two-week winter holiday. We encourage co-promotion and linking up, provide some funding for activities and promotion, and organise regular meetings to help look at access, gaps and barriers, and opportunities for new work. This is a partnership project between Oxfordshire County Council, the Oxfordshire District and City Councils, and other partners. We welcome discussion and will always seek to answer your queries and pass your feedback on to the relevant person or partner. However, we may remove postings that do not observe the following:

Oxmeinfo has shared some simple sun safety tips to help you stay safe and well during the warmer weather.

As the weather heats up, it’s important to take extra care 🌡️
Simple things like staying hydrated, seeking shade between 11am and 3pm, and using sunscreen (reapplied regularly) can help everyone enjoy the warm weather safely. Wearing light clothing can help keep you cool too ☀️
