As the weather heats up, it’s important to take extra care 🌡️
Simple things like staying hydrated, seeking shade between 11am and 3pm, and using sunscreen (reapplied regularly) can help everyone enjoy the warm weather safely. Wearing light clothing can help keep you cool too ☀️

As the warm weather is set to return, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service (Official) have shared some important water safety reminders.

As temperatures start to rise for summer, cooling off in open water might be tempting.
The water may look calm and inviting, but open water can be very dangerous.
Every year we and our partner agencies are called out to many incidents where people have gotten into difficulty after entering the water.

How safe are you?

Exams are almost over. If you're still sitting exams, remember to take care of your wellbeing, take regular breaks during revision, and make time for the things you enjoy. It can also help to have something fun planned to celebrate the end of exams.

As a parent, it can be hard to know what to do when your young person is dealing with something difficult.

Tellmi is a safe, anonymous space where young people can talk about what’s on their mind with others their age or with similar experiences. They can share as much or as little as they want, and because every post and reply is checked by a real person before it goes live, they’ll only receive supportive responses.

Tellmi is confidential. It’s a simple way for young people to offload, feel heard, and take a step towards feeling better.

Tellmi can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the App Store, or accessed at www.tellmi.app. For more information, visit www.tellmi.help.
