South Oxford Adventure Playground

South Oxford Adventure Playground SOAP is an inclusive, staffed adventure playground for children aged 7-15. Children of all ages are welcome and those under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please check our website for opening times. SOAP is a local charity run by volunteers & paid sessional staff, providing free, inclusive, supervised, adventurous outdoor play and activities. We believe all children have a right to play, regardless of background and/or ability. We provide inclusive, exciting and adventurous play for children aged 7 and over, within a supervised playground. When chil

dren under 7 attend they must be accompanied by an adult. Playworkers are onsite to support and encourage children in their play. SOAP is an open access playground, which means children 7 years and above can stay without a parent, and can leave when they wish. SOAP is supported by Oxford City Council, Oxfordshire County Council, Parasol, and by generous donations from the community of SOAP users. SOAP is available for private party hire.

☀️‼️Due to the hot weather we are due this week, SOAP will be closing at 1:30pm on Wednesday 12th & Thursday 13th August. ‼️☀️

We encourage our usual youth club group to come along any time on Tuesday ❤️

Tues - 7+ only 10-4pm 💙
Weds - 7+ only 10-1:30pm 💜
Thurs - Family day 10-1:30pm 💚
Fri - Family day 10-4pm.🩷

💤🌙*OUT OF HOURS* 💤🌙

Sadly we have had some late night visits to soap recently and although we know how fun it must be to have our lovely playground all to yourself, it’s not so fun when we have to tidy up your empty alcohol bottles, smashed glass and mess on our climbing frame 🥲

It’s not great for the staff to come in and have to tidy it up, but more importantly it’s so dangerous when we are opening our playground up as a safe place of play for children 🛝

We have been in contact with our local community police, who will kindly be checking in for us. 🙌
