I know lots of us are bereft at the news of Dollys passing, but I take heart in the good she has done in the world…she has left this place better than she found it, and through the Imagination Library she encouraged the love of reading in millions of children around the Globe.
Renfrewshire will celebrate its first ever ‘Dolly Day’ on 25th September, so make sure your organisation, workplace or group of friends does something fun to honour her. That would make her smile ❤️

I'm looking for adventurous fundraisers to take on an exciting challenge in support of my chosen charity, St Mirren FC Charitable Foundation.

On Friday 2 October, participants will take part in the Highland Fling Swing, a thrilling 40-metre swing over the River Garry. Every participant is asked to raise a minimum of £200, helping the Foundation continue its outstanding work with children, young people and families across Renfrewshire. Transport from Paisley to Killiecrankie and back is provided.

Funds raised will support programmes such as Fit & Fed, which provided free activities, healthy food and opportunities for more than 300 children during the summer holidays.

I know this will be a fantastic day out for a very worthy cause so if you're ready to challenge yourself we would love to hear from you.

I was delighted to help Stronger Communities bring this event to Glenburn!
The Ceilidh Trail receives funding to help young musicians from the Councils Local Partnership fund, and this is their way of paying back to the community.
Wonderful initiative….AND….its free!!
