Wear a poppy and join the nation in sending a personal message of support to those who serve and their families.
Available from 23 October at local supermarkets, high street shops, train stations or online at our Poppy Shop.

The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Launch is the 26th of October. Orrell Branch will be making deliveries to all our local schools next week from Monday the 14th before half term starts.
Deliveries to local outlets within our area will start from Monday the 21st . If you would like to take part this year please get in touch.

Join us on Saturday the 8th of June as we commemorate 80 years since the D-Day landings, a day that undoubtedly changed the course of WW2 for the allied forces and paved the way for the liberation of occupied Europe.
This not to be missed family friendly FREE ENTRY event takes places from 10.00am in Mesnes Park Wigan and includes:
WW2 Military Vehicles
Military Medical Living History Group
5th Manchester Regt Living History Museum
Wigan Territorials Wartime Exhibition
Models For Heroes
D-DAY Landings Display
Entertainment
Children’s Funfair
Stalls & Refreshments
There will also be a military parade starting from Standishgate at 10.30am into Mesnes Park.
