This is your chance to give Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) your views on the Draft Welsh Language Strategy 2026-31

As part of the Welsh Language Standards, PCC needs to produce and publish a 5-year plan that sets out how they propose to promote the Welsh language in Pembrokeshire. The current Strategy runs from 2021-26 and within five years they need to review the strategy and publish a revised version. The new 5-year strategy will run from 2026-31.

Further information and details on how to submit your opinion may be found on the PCC website at
https://www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/have-your-say/draft-welsh-language-strategy-2026-31

All completed responses must have been submitted by 5pm on 22nd March 2026.

This is your chance to tell us what you think about the draft Welsh Language Strategy 2026-31. Please take the chance to have your say on how we support the Welsh language over the next five years.

Cosh Callout Good Neighbours Group Brunch Meeting

At Cosheston Village Hall, Saturday 14th March, 10.30am – 12.30pm

In association with PAVS (Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services) we are looking to build a friendly team to assist with simple but meaningful tasks such as checking in on vulnerable residents, helping with small errands, supporting local events, and offering a listening ear to those who may feel isolated.

You don’t need special skills — just a little time, compassion, and a willingness to help. Whether you can give an hour a week or a few hours a month, every contribution makes a real difference.

Volunteering is a chance to:
- Meet new people in the local area
- Make a positive impact close to home
- Build a stronger, safer, more connected community

If you’d like to be part of something caring and practical, please come along to our open meeting at Cosheston Village Hall on Saturday 14th March, when Mr Lee Hind, the Manager of PAVS Community Hub, will outline how we can work together to get the scheme up and running. (Refreshments including bacon rolls provided).

Together, we can make our neighbourhood a place where everyone feels supported, so please come along, everyone welcome.
